Munich

Munich was one of my favorite cities from last year so I was excited to go back! Unfortunately this year it rained every night, and then all day one of the days.  My shoes were soaked completely through. The first afternoon we were there we took a self guided tour around the old town. One of the interiors or a church was painted to look like it had a domed roof, but in reality didn't. It was pretty cool!

After our tour we decided to hit up some beer gardens and beer houses. Unfortunately this was probably the day I should have worn my lederhosen that I bought, but we didn't go back to our hostel before hand. Then because it rained the next two nights I didn't wear them out.

We hit up the Hofbrau beer hall! This is a really sweet place, and they even had an oompa band playing!

And of course me with some of there beer! I'm holding a mass, or a liter of beer as this is how they are usually served.

The next place we went to was the Augustiner Keller beer garden. This is one of my favorites, you walk by the counter grab a mass poured from a barrel and pay!

The next day we did a day trip to Dachau. This is a rather famous concentration camp. The reason it is well know is because it was one of the first ones, and it was where many guys would go to learn how to run the camps. A concentration camp isn't something you can really explain either. You need to go and experience it for yourself.

Then the next day we took another day trip to the Neuswannstein castle! This has to be one of my favorite places in all of Europe! It is just gorgeous. Because I went in the castle last year when I was there, I took a hike on a trail while my friends went inside. This is the view I got from up further on the trail.

And on the way back down from the mountain the castle is on, we walked by a river. There were even times when we were just on metal grating bolted into the rock.
